Masaryk’s a portrait that is numbered and signed by the author – academic painter Oldřich Kulhánek.The obverse side of the medal shows an effigy of the first Czech President with lime-tree offsprings at his left and right sides as a symbol of Slavism.The reverse side features a stylized fragment from the reverse side of the 5000-crown banknote, containing the best known Prague historical sites – Prague Castle, St. Nicolas’ Cathedral and the Powder Tower.
