Ten-ducat CR 2015 Heraldic characters proof | Czech Mint
The Mint says about this coin:
Product description Heraldic animals often embody noble qualities on which the nation has always prided itself. The CzechRepublic’scoat of arms displays the three historical regions which make up the Czech lands: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia that are represented by the Czech lion and two eagles. The expression Czech lion designates a silver double-tailed lion with a gold crown and gold arms. Originally, the lion had only one tail; according to the Dalimil Chronicle the second tail was added after Ottokar I of Bohemia helped the emperor in the fight against Saxons. All the three hearaldic animals are featured on the gold ten-ducat struck by Czech Mint whichis part of the mint’s ducat series Czech statehood 2015. The design of the ten-ducat was created by foremost Czech medal designer Michal Vitanovský. The author depicted the Czech lion as well as the two eagles on the reverse of the ducat as separate arms of the Czech lands and also on the obverse in the form of a masterly collage. Thanks to its high artistic value the ten-ducat has a high collector value, and the pure gold from which it is made has a great investment potential. Only the fastest buyers can get a piece from the limited edition of the unique ten-ducat, do not therefore hesitate and invest your money safely and wisely!
