Product description The world football superpower had to wait for 64 years until the most prestigious world championship returned to it. As soon as FIFA decided that Brazil will host the 20th world cup organized by this association, the life of local people turned upside town. The country lives with football and the preparations for the event were enormous. They began with the selection of the official mascot of the games – Fuleco the Armadillo in the colours of the Brazilian tricolour. When curled up, the armadillo resembles the official ball of the Brazilian championship. The latter was introduced with great pomp at an official ceremony on December 3, 2013 and was named Brazuca. To please football fans Czech Mint prepared special set of circulation coins with the theme 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP. All valid coins used in the Czech Republic that were not released into circulation are placed in a glossy carton folder with colour motives in yellow, green and blue along with an original token. The latter was designed by creative artist Petr Horák in commemoration of the exceptional sporting event. The twelve largest Brazilian stadiums Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Natal, Recife, Salvador, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Cuiabá and Porto Alegre roared in June with elation and cheers of thousands of dedicated fans sharing love for football. And in millions of households TV monitors turned green and the time stopped.
