The Mint says about this coin:
In early September 2010 the Czech National Bank issued a 200-crown commemorative silver coin to mark the 700th anniversary of the marriage of John of Luxembourg and Elisabeth Přemyslid and the Luxembourg dynasty’s ascension to the Czech throne.

The principal motif of the obverse side is the Czech lion in a stylized medieval rendition against a background of Gothic-style decor consisting of stars and dots. The name of the state in Czech “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA” in stylized Gothic lettering and the denomination and the abbreviated unit of Czech currency “200 Kč” are inscribed around the rim. The mintmark of the Czech Mint, made of letters “Č” and “M”, is incorporated into the Gothic decor above the coin’s denomination.

The reverse side features the stylized figures of John of Luxembourg and Elisabeth Přemyslid at their wedding against a background of Gothic-style decor consisting of stars and dots. The circumscription in Czech reads “SŇATEK JANA LUCEMBURSKÉHO S ELIŠKOU PŘEMYSLOVNOU” and contains the anniversary dates “1310–2010”. The initials of the coin’s designer, Jakub Vlček, are incorporated into the Gothic decor to the left of John of Luxembourg’s figure.

Standard coins are made with a reeded edge. Proof coins have a highly polished field, a matte relief, and a plain edge with the inscription “ČESKÁ NÁRODNÍ BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *”.

Each coin comes complete with a white catalogue card bearing a grey-blue print replicating the graphic design of the coin and featuring the coin’s description and relief.
