200-crown silver coin Karel Zeman proof The obverse side of the 200-crown coin features a composition of characters from Karel Zeman’s films. A sorcerer from his “Krabat - The Sorcerer's Apprentice“, on the left John and Mary from his film „The Tale of John and Marie“ and on the right Sinbad the Sailor from his “Tales of One Thousand and One Nights“. Nominal value of the coin and the currency “200 Kč“ is placed behind the figures on the film strip with the name of state “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA“ above. The mintsign is hidden in the right lower corner next to Sindab.Other motifs from Zeman’s films appear on the reverse of the coin – a submarine, an octopus, the cave from“The Fabulous World of Jules Verne“ and the airship from the film “Stolen Airship“. The filmmaker’s name is placed in the middle of the coin next to the airship, as well as the years “1910 – 2010“. Letters “L“ and“N“, initials of the design author Lenka Nebeská, are placed at the lower rim of the 200-crown coin.The coin in proof quality has a highly polished field and matted relief, the edge is plain with lettering “ČESKÁ NÁRODNÍ BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g*“.A violet catalogue card with a description of the coin and its plastic image is supplied with each coin.Limited edition 13,200 pieces.
