Geiger Original Series bars are unique in appearance for their square shape with designs that are stamped into the primary surface of the bar. While the visual appearance of the bar’s shape and designs are reminiscent of the modern Geiger Original minted ingots, these pieces are cast silver bars.
All of these 1 Kilo Geiger Square Cast Silver Bars are individually packaged for delivery. The bars will ship with protective plastic around each individual bar. These bars also come with a certificate from Geiger Edelmetalle that is sealed inside the plastic that surrounds the bar.
Obverse features of the Geiger Square Cast Silver Bars offer the identifying hallmarks of the bar. In the center of the bar’s design field, you will find the image of Schloss Guldengossa. The other markings on this field include the name of the mint, the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar, and even the name of the castle. There are no markings on the reverse of these cast silver bars.
One unique feature of these 1 Kilo Geiger Square Cast Silver Bars is the appearance of the markings. These details and inscriptions are not engraved onto the bar in 3D relief, but rather, are stamped into the surface with an incuse finish. This means the images and inscriptions are not raised on the surface.
