In the Original Series of silver and gold bars, Geiger presents its most classic of designs on bullion bars. The headquarters of the refinery is featured on one side of the bars, while the other side has a repeating design of the refinery’s LEV rhombus logo. On the obverse of each 100 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bar is a beautiful depiction of Schloss Guldengossa, the headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle today. The castle was built in 1720 outside of Leipzig and was the first registered facility by Geiger Edelmetalle. The minted obverse of the bars features a pearl finish for enhanced security.
Each of the Geiger Original Series square bars has a ribbed edge around the outside typically found on bullion coins. The reverse of these Geiger Square Silver Bars includes a textured, high-relief production of the LEV rhombus logo used by Geiger Edelmetalle. There is also a printed, unique serial number with a one-letter, seven-digit code. There is also a UV coating on the reverse, which under black light reveals another LEV rhombus and highlights the serial number.
Geiger Edelmetalle opened outside of Leipzig in 1218. For 800 years, the refinery has been at the center of the nation’s silver industry. In addition to gold and silver bars, Geiger coins the popular Armenian Silver Noah’s Ark coins.
