The Geiger Original Series of gold and silver bars are available in varying weights. The smallest silver bar in the collection is a minuscule 1 Gram, or just .03215 Troy ounces of pure silver. These 100 oz Geiger Square Silver Bars represent the second-largest option in the silver range by weight, with the largest being the 5000 Gram (5 Kilogram) bar which weighs in at just over 160 Troy ounces of pure silver.
Each of the Geiger Square Silver Bars in this listing is available with the refinery’s latest measures in anti-counterfeiting. All bars have certain measures included in the design, such as the pearl finish of the obverse, ribbed edging around the bar’s outer sides, and a textured, high-relief finish on the reverse.
The obverse of all 100 oz Geiger Square Silver Bars includes the image of Schloss Guldengossa. This castle was built in the Baroque style in 1720 and is located outside the city of Leipzig, which is located in the southeastern region of Germany. The castle is home to Geiger’s corporate headquarters and was its first registered office location.
On the reverse of all Geiger Square Silver Bars in the Original Series you’ll find a repeating LEV rhombus. This design is used on many Geiger products, and included on this side is a UV coating only visible under black light. When exposed, this UV coating displays an additional LEV rhombus and the unique serial number of the bar.
