2024 1 oz Proof Gibraltar Silver One Crown Penny Black Coin l JM Bullion™

The mint says about this coin:

Postage stamps are a common part of postal service in the modern world, but in the 19th century, postage rates were varied and confusing. The United Kingdom was the first to issue a postage stamp with a set value to make postal rates clearer and easier to understand. Known as the Penny Black, this famous stamp featured an effigy of Queen Victoria. Today, 2024 1 oz Proof Gibraltar Silver One Crown Penny Black Coins are available at JM Bullion.

The Penny Black was so-called for its black background and value of one penny. The stamps featured a left-profile bust of Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
