During his lifetime, the best-known member of the House of Luxembourg gained many more titles – he was a King of Germany, Lombardy and Burgundy, a Margrave of Moravia and a Margrave of Luxembourg. The son of John of Luxembourg and Elizabeth of Bohemia was born on 14 May 1316 in Prague, where he also died on 29 November 1378.
