This first striking 5g pure silver coin note in the Star Trek: The Next Generation Collection features the poster artwork, from Juan Ortiz, of the series premiere episode, "Encounter at Farpoint, Pt. I". A Star Trek: The Next Generation Collector's Album is included with purchase. Inside a protective cover, this hardcover album includes a page for the seven coin notes in the collection. Each coin note features poster artwork of a key episode from one of the seven seasons of the series, including "Encounter at Farpoint, Pt. I", "The Measure of a Man", "The Best of Both Worlds, Pt. l", "Redemption, Pt. I", "Unification, Pt. I", "Chain of Command, Pt. I", and "All Good Things". Alongside the coin note, there is a summary of that episode. The design is brought to life through the use of engraving and colour printing. The unique number in the mintage is also printed on each coin note. The obverse of the note features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is legal tender in Niue. This single silver coin note is housed inside a protective sleeve which includes details of the note's authenticity.
