Product description In collectible series called the Threatened nature of the Czech Mint regularly alternate the representatives of Czech fauna and flora included into the so called Red List. The second colored silver coin of 2017 belongs to the Lilium bulbiferum. In the Czech Republic grow wild only two kinds of lilies. One of them is the „Lilium bulbiferum“. Although she occurs quite widely in Europe, on the territory of our country is highly threatened species. It grows at higher altitudes - in the foothills and mountain areas - and thus you can find it especially in the areas of border mountains. You can recognize it at first glance. It has a very showy orange-red blossoms, which on average exceed 10 cm, and its stem is, as the name suggests, studded with a number of round bulbs. As in the case of most endangered species the main enemy of this lily is the human recklessness. The artistic layout of this coin is the work of an experienced medal maker MgA. Martin Dašek. The reverse side is dominated by depiction of the plant in vivid colors, achieved by using the tampon printing technology. The glass chaton, which traditionally complements the composition, is also colored. The inscription then states an entire Czech and Latin name LILIE CIBULKONOSNÁ, LILIUM BULBIFERUM L. The obverse is dedicated to a floral motifs and an essential attributes of the licensor for issuing coins of the Czech Mint. This is the island of Niue and his attributes consist of the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II., the year of issue of the coin 2017 and its nominal value 1 DOLLAR (NZD). An integral part of the issue is a narrative illustrated package.
