The Mint says about this coin:
In 2011 the Niue Island issued an exciting series of coins commemorating a famous Czech painter, Alphonse Mucha. The artist was known for his particular style, so the coins in the series show his most renowned works. The designers chose the Mucha's Zodiac as the central topic of the series. The Capricorn is a great coin that can serve as an original present or a rich decoration of your collection. The coins are made of .925 silver, and their perfect shine is best seen on the obverse. This side contains the traditional Niue Royal Mint with Queen Elizabeth II. The regent's portrait is also surrounded by small replicas of Mucha's representation of zodiac signs. The inscriptions located between the royal profile and the zodiac denote the queen's name, the face value, the year of issue and the country that uses the coin as the legal tender. The mintage of the coin is 10.000 pieces, and each of them has a fascinating image on the reverse. Along with the zodiac signs, all coins in the series have full-color replicas of women's paintings by the master. The beauty of the portrait is underlined by delicate ornaments in the background. The reverse contains only one styled inscription, and it denotes the name of this marvelous work. The lower half of the composition is decorated by a small circle containing the symbol of Capricorn painted by Mucha in 1896 Material: 925 Date of issue: 2010 Weight: 28.28 Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
