The Mint says about this coin:
Art Nuveau was a style of art that gave many amazing works to the world. Alphonse Mucha belongs to the most famous artists that confessed the philosophy of this style. To commemorate the famous master, in 2011 Niue issued a series of coins dedicated to his 150th anniversary. The main topic of the series – the zodiac – is beautifully complemented by women's paintings by A.Mucha. One of the most mystic and spiritual signs of the zodiac is Pisces, and it holds a rightful place in this series. All coins united in A.Mucha's Zodiac have the same mint on the obverse. It contains the noble effigy of Queen Elizbeth II surrounded by multiple inscriptions denoting the year and the country of issue, the queen's name and the denomination of the coin. The specialty of this coin made of .925 silver is that the regular royal mint is also accompanied by the zodiacal circle representing the famous work of the artist. What makes every of 10.000 Pisces coins extremely special is the reverse side. It has a colored painting of a woman with dark hair and a bit sad eyes. However, the lady's beauty is marked out by tender ornaments in the background. The only inscription on this side reads the name of the coin. The beautiful composition is completed by the symbol of Pisces, which is a copy of the master's work. Material: 925 Date of issue: 2010 Weight: 28.28 Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
