The Mint says about this coin:
The new Tropical Fish series presented by the Pacific island of Niue consists of three silver proof coins dedicated to the beautiful Royal Blue Tang, Royal Gramma and Guineafowl Pufferfish. This .925 silver coin captures an extraordinary Royal Gramma fish, a hardy and colorful creature that is extremely interesting to watch. The obverse of this rectangular Niue coin bears the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. The inscriptions surrounding the portrait include the Queen’s name, the name of the issuing country, the face value of the coin and its issuing year. The reverse of the silver coin is truly amazing. The colorful image depicts the Royal Gramma with reef coral engraving in the background. Being a real explosion of color, this stunning saltwater fish possesses a bright bluish-purple color at the front half of its body and a brightly colored yellow at the back half. The fading between its two main colors provides a striking gradient pattern that makes this species so exceptionally attractive. The inscriptions on the reverse also include the name of the coin and that of the series. This Royal Gramma coin comes housed in a custom mold box reminiscent of an aquarium that features a liquid filled lid with an air bubble. A nice addition to your marine life coin collection!
