The Wildlife Family is an awesome series of silver coins by Niue highlighting the most interesting representatives of the world’s fauna and their babies. This is the third coin of the series, struck from 1 oz silver .999 with the extremely limited mintage – 500 pieces only! Decorated with four genuine Swarovski crystals, the ultrahigh relief of the antique finish coin impresses with its details and perfectly renders the animals’ appearance and even emotions. With the animal skin motif at the background, the obverse of the Niue coin contains the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. The inscriptions surrounding the portrait include the Queen’s name, the face value of the coin, its issuing country and year. The reverse of the animal coin shows a magnificent snow leopard with its pretty cub, their eyes shimmering with blue Swarovski crystals. . Living in the steep and rocky alpine regions of Central Asia, the snow leopard is known for its its beautiful, thick fur: a white, yellowish or soft gray coat with ringed spots of black on brown. An estimated 3,500 to 7,000 snow leopards are left in the wild, with 600 - 700 in zoos around the world. The coin and series names are also engraved on the reverse. A real catch for nature lovers!
