from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The motive shows a picture of the extraterrestrial superhero in strong colors as well as the Martian Manhunter™ logo. The design is completed by a background engraving of Martian Manhunter™ in flight. The reverse shows the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the denomination and year of issue. The superhero from Mars, whose real name is J'onn J'onzz, is characterized by telepathic abilities and the gift of changing his appearance through the power of thought. He made his first appearance in 1955 in the Detective Comics 255, when the scientist Dr. Erdel accidentally teleported him to Earth. Since then he has been acting as the private detective John Jones.
