Mysteries of Wawel is a new impressive coin issued by Niue as the second one in the Crystal Art series. The antique-finish high relief coin of 2 oz .999 fine silver is embellished with a crystal glass insert and has got the extremely limited mintage of a mere 999 pieces worldwide. The finely crafted obverse of the silver coin bears a small effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II surrounded by the inscriptions of the Queen’s name, the issuing country and year. This side of the coin is also decorated with a crystal glass insert according to the series name. The amazingly detailed reverse features magnificent Wawel Royal Castle, one of Krakow’s must-see sights. Overlooking the Vistula river on a raised rock outcropping, tha castle comprises buildings of unique historical and artistic values from different eras.
