A new milestone in modern coin minting – meet the first square coin with 4 rotating designs! Struck from 2 oz silver 999 BU, the coin is partly gold plated and showcases Great Chinese Panda. The inner part of the coin is movable and can be turned around so that the reverse becomes the obverse or vice versa. One side is 999 gold plated and the other side is the usual 999 silver surface. Black-and-white bears, or pandas, inhabit the mountains of central and western China. Unfortunately, the animals are now considered as a critically endangered species – there are about 1,600 left in the wild. This is the result of human destruction of their forest habitat combined with poaching. With the worldwide mintage limited to only 999 pieces worldwide, each coin is delivered in a beautiful wooden presentation case. This high quality coin with four exquisite designs is sure to enchant even the most demanding coin collectors!
