The coin starts a brand-new Gods of Olympus series and showcases Zeus, the supreme ruler of Mount Olympus and the Pantheon of gods, in stunning 3,7 mm high relief! Struck from 2 oz silver 999, the coin is also antique finished and rose gold plated. Each coin comes housed in a stylized presentation box. Only 500 pieces issued! The obverse of the Niue coin comprises the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II and traditional inscriptions: the Queen’s name, the face value of the coin, its issuing year and country. The 50 mm reverse is mostly occupied by a high relief image of Zeus with his golden lightning and shield called the aegis. The most powerful of all Gods of Olympus, Zeus was god of the sky and weather, law and justice, morals and fate, and the spiritual leader of both gods and men. As the king of the gods and sitting atop the golden throne on Olympus, Zeus was revered by all.
