A new work of art in the world of modern coins! This splendid innovative coin in the shape of an open cube is made of 6,5 oz silver 999 and boasts eye-catching decorations: Leonardo da Vinci’s artwork on each side, antique finish and partial gold plating. The worldwide mintage is limited to a mere 500 pieces worldwide! The obverse of the coin, which is actually one of the cube sides, features the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II, surrounded by a decorative gold plated frame and the following inscriptions: the Queen’s name, the face value of the coin, its metal weight and fineness, issuing country and year. The coin displays various masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, such as Last Supper, Mona Lisa, Self-portrait and Vitruvian Man. Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is considered to be one of the greatest and most influential artists of all times. His artworks, characterized by extraordinary lively yet harmonic composition and subtle technique of shadowing had an enormous influence on the following generation of artists. The coin measures 45 x 45 x 45 mm and comes housed in a double-sided presentation box, which includes an acrylic stand to provide a perfect display for thus unique coin!
