The gold collector coin commemorating the World Expo 2005 Japan comes from an issue by the National Bank of Poland. The gold coin weighs 15.50 grams and has a gold fineness of 900. The coin features a proof finish and a limited mintage of 4,200 pieces.
Obverse features a stylized image of a fragment of the Fryderyk Chopin monument from Łazienki Park in Warsaw. In the background, there is the image of the eagle established for the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland. Additionally, the obverse includes the inscription "200 ZŁ," the year of issue "2005," and the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA." The mintmark is located under the eagle's left claw.
Reverse features stylized images of Nagoya Castle against the backdrop of Mount Fuji and a branch of blooming plum. At the top of the coin is the inscription: "EXPO / 2005 / AICHI." The designer of the coin is Robert Kotowicz. |
