Skrzypek is located in the NPB headquarters in Warsaw. The patron of the institution Sławomir Stanisław Skrzypek was an engineer and an economist. He served the function of the president of the central bank of Poland until his death in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash in Smoleńsk. The visitors of the Center have an opportunity to discover the history of money, broaden their knowledge about the economy, learn the role of a central bank in a monetary system and get familiar with important economic processes. In an interesting way they can learn how to deposit and invest their money, what is currency and what role is attributed to the central bank of Poland.
