is dedicated to the
protected landscape area Poľana
. The motive of the coin shows the Bystrý Potok waterfall, a national natural monument. Along the left edge a fragment of traditional ornamentation can be seen. Below the name "POĽANA" and a representation of the Sudeten German mountain pansy (viola lutea sudetica) are depicted. The words "CHRÁNENÁ KRAJINNÁ OBLASŤ" (Protected Landscape Area) are engraved on the lower edge of the coin. The reverse shows two fighting deer and six other deer watching the fight. A rock formation of volcanic origin, the Slovak coat of arms, the value and the year of issue are also included in the design. The coin was struck from 33,63 grams of silver in proof quality. The commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
