The Perth Mint and Australia Post are delighted to present this cute baby dragon coin in card as the perfect gift for babies born in 2012. This baby dragon coin celebrates the Year of the Dragon. Those born under the influence of this sign are said to be confident, enterprising, independent, self-assured, brave and passionate. Adorable Dragon Design The coin’s reverse depicts a representation of a baby dragon in colour. The Chinese character for ‘dragon’, the inscription YEAR OF THE DRAGON and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design. Limited Mintage Only 10,000 of these coins will be issued by The Perth Mint. Tuvalu Legal Tender The aluminium bronze coin is issued as legal tender under the Government of Tuvalu. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse. Presentation Packaging The coin is housed in a delightfully illustrated card with room to record the baby’s name, birth date, time of birth, weight and height.
