Displaying the distinctive markings of a black head contrasting a white neck ring and chestnut coloured breast feathers, this large bird can often be found in the south western and south eastern parts of Australia. Unique Reverse Design The coin’s reverse depicts an irresistible image of a Shelduck walking through a lake environment. The design also features the inscription AUSTRALIAN SHELDUCK TADORNA TADORNOIDES and the monetary denomination of $1. Tuvalu Legal Tender Coin Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the obverse of the coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination and the 2013 year-date. Official Australia Post Stamp Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.65 stamp. The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number.
