The Cubs series continues with the final release in this five coin series featuring the Lynx. The lynx is a solitary cat endemic to the remote northern forests of North America, Europe and Asia. This unusual looking feline has a short, stubby tail, and tufts of black hair on its ears, and is covered with thick fur to keep it warm during the freezing winters. Proof Quality 99.9% Pure Silver Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. Beautiful Colour Design The coin’s reverse features two coloured lynx cubs in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The inscription CUBS and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design. Tuvalu Legal Tender Each coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
