The Cubs series continues with the third release in this five coin series featuring the Snow Leopard. The Snow Leopard is a large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. With powerful legs they are seen to be tremendous leapers, often able to jump as far as 15 metres. Proof Quality 99.9% Pure Silver Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. Beautiful Colour Design The coin’s reverse features two coloured snow leopard cubs in the mountains in Central Asia. The inscription CUBS and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design. Tuvalu Legal Tender Each coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2016 year-date and the monetary denomination.
