The name of the issuing country, Saint Kitts and Nevis, is usually displayed on the reverse of the coins where it is present (sometimes abbreviated as St. Kitts & Nevis). The country is part of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and its coins are issued under the authority of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, whose name and the effigy and legend of the monarch are usually on the obverse.
