Visigothic Kingdom / King Iudila - pretender

Between 632 and 633, there was a rebellion in the Visigothic Kingdom led by Iudila. It is not mentioned in any records, it is only attested to by two coins from Mérida and Granada bearing the inscription IUDILA REX.

His parentage is unknown, although it could be related to Suintila. On December 5 the 633, the Fourth Council of Toledo excommunicated Iudila and deprived him of his properties.
