XII Commonwealth Games Brisbane 1982 Coin Set, Coin Set from Australia - detailed information

This coin set contains all six of the circulating denominations issued by Australia in 1982: from 1 Cents up to 50 Cents (the larger denominations of $1 and $2 had not yet not introduced at that time).

The 50 cents included in the set is a commemorative marking the XII Commonwealth Games held in Brisbane from 30 September to 9 October 1982. This was the only coin issued in the denomination this year - no "definitive" (Coat of Arms) fifty cent coins were released in 1982.

The set comes in a small green wallet with the coins set in plastic pockets which are not encapsulated, so the coins fall out of them.
