The Kangaroo Series Special Edition, Great Australian Artists in Colour features the work of three prominent Australian artists depicting Australia's national animal, the kangaroo. The designs were separately issued in a different format before, and are by artists specially invited by the mint to contribute to its Silver Kangaroo series. This set combines the three designs of the mini-series in pad-printed colour.

The set comes in a box, with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, with a small display stand for each coin.
