Kangaroo in the Outback 2010 Three Coin Gold Proof Set, Coin Set from Australia - detailed information

This set by the Royal Australian Mint contains three fifth-ounce gold coins. The reverse designs by award-winning coin sculptor Wojciech Pietranik recall his iconic Kangaroo at Sunset series, and also feature a lone kangaroo bounding across the Australian outback.

The three coins in the set are a "stop motion" series, with the kangaroo's movement marked by the position of the windmill in the background - on the first coin it is on the right, then at centre, and then on the left as the kangaroo leaves it behind.
