2020 Lunar Series Year of the Rat, Coin Set from Australia - detailed information

Featuring the only Lunar Series coins to utilise the traditional 25 mm aluminium-bronze coin - the same size as regular circulating coins, this is a new Royal Australian Mint series, dedicated to the Chines Year of the Rat.

The first animal of the lunar cycle, the Rat appears on one of these new collector coins, amongst a bunch of lucky lychees and he also features on the other coin as part of the Lunar cycle wheel.

This pair of Australian Lunar coins is housed on an auspicious red and gold card, and is limited to a mintage of 30,000 pieces.
