Featuring the only Lunar Series coins to utilise the traditional 25 mm aluminium-bronze coin - the same size as regular circulating coins, this is the third set in a new Royal Australian Mint series, and is dedicated to the Chines Year of the Tiger.
The Mint says about it: "In 2022 we celebrate the third of the twelve-year cycle in the Lunar Calendar, with the Year of the Tiger. People born under this sign are said to have characteristics of determination, self-assurance and leadership.
This is a two coin set that features the charming and powerful Tiger and the Lunar Calendar Wheel."
This pair of Australian Lunar coins is housed on an auspicious red and gold card, and is limited to a mintage of 30,000 pieces. |
