The set "pays tribute to the national icons of Britannia and Liberty in harmony" and is "a physical representation of the special relationship between the United Kingdom and United States". It includes a gold proof edition of the Britannia and Liberty 2024 UK Coin created by the Royal Mint in partnership with the United States Mint, a UK £25 gold coin and a US $10 gold coin that feature depictions of Britannia and Liberty respectively.
All three coins are in the quarter-ounce of gold format, with the UK coins being 99.99%, and the UK coin being 22-carat. They are "bullion" coins, and the two older ones are not guaranteed to be of a specific year. The UK coin is a gold Britannia dated from 1987 to 2023, and the US coin is a gold Eagle dated from 1986 to 2023. |
