The United Kingdom Family Silver Collection 2008, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

In 2008 the Royal Mint released this limited issue silver proof 5-coin collection all struck in solid Sterling Silver. The set includes the two £5 (Crown) commemoratives of the year, the 450th Anniversary of the Accession of Elizabeth I and 60th Birthday of Prince Charles of Wales. Also included in the set is the Olympic Games Centenary £2 silver proof and the Royal Shield of Arms £1 silver proof. Unlike other sets, it has additionally a Britannia £2 coin (it has higher silver content than the rest: 95.8%).

The set comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
