This eleven-coin set is part of a range of Royal Mint sets which include "historical" (i.e. not new) coins.

The mint says about it:
"This special 11-coin set brings together nine pre-decimal coins issued in 1948, the year His Majesty King Charles III was born. The set also includes the 2023 £5 and 50p coins from the coronation collection, which both feature His Majesty The King’s official crowned coinage portrait."

The 2023 coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated grade; the older coins are circulated (minimum of "Fine" grade) and are dated 1948, the king's year of birth.
