The Fourth Circulating Coinage Portrait - Final Edition (Definitive Proof Set)
Set NameThe Fourth Circulating Coinage Portrait - Final Edition (Definitive Proof Set)

In 2015, the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the coinage of the United Kingdom was updated from her official Fourth Effigy to her Fifth Portrait by Jody Clark. This set is a sort of a "good-bye" set containing all the coins from the Definitive set carrying the Fourth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, in Proof FDC grade.

Notes

Issued on its own, and in a combined set with the respective First Edition with the Fifth Portrait called "Fourth and Fifth Definitive Coinage Portrait Coin Collection" (Royal Mint Product code: DW15BP).

Separate mintage: 1,563
Additional mintage in the double set: 1,642

There is some confusion about this set...

Sets listed at the Royal Mint sales page for 2015 include "Annual" final/first sets with a) no mention of grade, and b) no mention what they contain. On the other hand, there are also "definitive" sets listed. Given that there were no final/first sets containing all 13 coins from the full annual sets, but on the other hand there were 8-coin proof sets and 8-coin BU sets of both persuasions, we have assumed that the sets called "definitive" are BU and those called "annual" are the 8-coin Proof sets.
