The 2013 United Kingdom Silver Proof Coin Set
Set NameThe 2013 United Kingdom Silver Proof Coin Set

This is the silver version of the United Kingdom Proof Set of the year, including the regular circulating coins plus (most of) the commemorative coins issued throughout the year.

The 2013 set includes an unprecedented number of commemorative coins: the Queen's Coronation 60th Anniversary £5), three different commemorative £2 coins: the Golden Guinea, the London Underground (Roundel) and the London Underground (Train), and the Christopher Ironside commemorative 50 pence.

Apart from the "definitive" £1 of the Royal Shield type, there are also two £1 coins with the floral emblems of England and Wales respectively. The rest of the coins in the set are all the regular circulating coins, from the definitive £2 Technology down to 1p.

The coins are struck in Sterling Silver and are in Proof FDC grade with frosted finish. There is also a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
