Coin | Gold Half Ounce Perth Mint Cast Button |
---|
|
Australia has two mints, the Royal Australian Mint (which also makes the country's circulating coinage) and the Perth Mint, which are both very active in the bullion coinage space; coins issued by them are legal tender.
Additionally, they (and other companies) issue bullion which is not legal tender and is targeted at investors and not at coin collectors - such as this one.
These 99.99% bullion cast bars are offered in a convenient choice of weights and are stamped with The Perth Mint's London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) registered mark, a symbol of international tradability.
The gold half-ounce has been made by the Perth Mint since 2024. |
