Features a specially minted Australian Legal Tender $1 coin, with an official Australia Post stamp and postmarked the 20th November the date of the Royal wedding. $1 Aluminium Bronze Coin This uncirculated $1 coin is struck by The Perth Mint from aluminium bronze and has an unlimited mintage. 70th Anniversary Design The coin’s reverse depicts the shield from the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom alongside the shield from the Coat of Arms of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The design also includes the floral emblems of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England, as well as St Edward’s Crown, the inscription 70TH ANNIVERSARY ROYAL WEDDING, the year-dates 1947-2017, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination on its obverse.
