With much anticipation from coin collectors and precious metal investors, the 2015 2 oz Australian Silver Goat Coin is now available in brand new, brilliant uncirculated condition and will ship in its sealed plastic coin capsule. Each coin weighs 2 troy ounces and has been minted with .999 fine silver.Coin Highlights:Contains 1 oz of .999 pure silver.Minted at the Perth Mint in Australia.Features a unique goat design to honor the Chinese Lunar Calendar.Available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.On the coin’s obverse side is Queen Elizabeth II as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. He has depicted the Queen from a side profile view wearing her regal tiara. Above the queen are etchings for her name and the country which read “Elizabeth II Australia.” Under the queen are inscriptions for the coin’s weight, silver purity, face value and the minting year. This information reads “2 oz 999 Silver 2015 2 Dollars.”The coins reverse has been designed by Natasha Muhl and showcases three goats which appear to be grazing. The animals are standing in a field with two of the three staring out into the distance and the third feeding on the grass. To the top left of the design is a tree with several leaves and the Chinese character for the goat. Below the goats are inscriptions for the lunar year which read “Year of the Goat.” A “P” mintmark is also stamped on this side for the Perth Mint.
