of the Austrian Mint is dedicated to a total of five spirit animals that play a central role in the mythology of indigenous cultures on different continents. The first release from the series features the

Australian rainbow snake

- an animal that is said to have a creative power in Aboriginal culture. According to Aboriginal mythology, the Rainbow Serpent shaped the Australian landscape in the Dreamtime - the time before humans. The mythical creature, whose skin shimmers in all the colors of the rainbow, is considered a benevolent protector of mankind and a merciless persecutor of lawbreakers. The motive of this silver coin depicts a very detailed representation of the head of the rainbow snake. The eye of the snake consists of a

drop-shaped Swarovski® crystal

and is clearly distinguished from the design of the coin by the bright orange coloring. The reverse shows the inscription "REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA" and the denomination "20 EURO". The
