Bulgaria: Coin Fifty Leva 1940 - detailed information

Bulgaria: Coin Fifty Leva 1940
CoinFifty Leva 1940

The design reverts to the 1930 design, probably due to the fact that Bulgaria and the United Kingdom were on different sides during World War II so Bulgaria could not continue mintage at the Royal Mint London as in 1934.

The edge of the coin carries the inscription "БОЖЕ ПАЗИ БЪЛГАРИЯ" - God Save Bulgaria.
