Gold Ounce 2020 Tiger - Panthera Tigris, Coin from Laos - detailed information

At its centre, the obverse of the coin depicts the Pha That Luang (Lao: ທາດຫຼວງ or ພຣະທາດຫລວງ) - a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of the capital city of Laos, Vientiane. The shrine dates back to the 3rd century AD, and is is generally regarded as the most important national monument in Laos and a national symbol; it forms part of the national emblem of Laos.

Around above, the name of the issuing authority: BANK OF THE LAO PDR (the central bank of the Lao People's Democratic Republic).
