Silver Ten Ounces - Penrose Triangle Bar, Coin from Slovakia - detailed information

The obverse is blank.

The reverse of the bar depicts on the left a "Penrose Triangle" - an optical illusion of an object which cannot be created in three dimensions.

On the right, on three lines the precious metal content: 10 OZ FINE SILVER 9999 (ten troy ounces of 99.99% silver).

Below, the name of the mint: PRESSBURG MINT; above right, the mint's logo.

In the upper part of the design, VERIFICATION CODE, below which a 12-character code, below which the bar's unique serial number.

The background is decorated with geometric patterns, and wavy lines vertically on the right.

Finish: bullion (Brilliant Uncirculated).
Packaging: vacuum-sealed in a branded paper box.

Some sources list the bars as belonging to Niue, because the company makes similar bars which are Niue legal tender; however, the Penrose Triangle Bar is not legal tender and we have listed it under Slovakia, for the country of manufacture.

Mintage of these bars seems to be "on demand". The company announces on its web site the mintage limit of the product, and the number of currently minted coins or bars of the type.
