Coin | Christmas Angel Medal (2022) |

|
Medals are a form of "exonumia" - objects related to coinage but not coins themselves. Such are, for example, the medals included in some Swissmint coin sets. They do not have any "face value" and are not tokens either, but can still be of interest to coin collectors.
This bimetallic medal was included in the annual Christmas sets issued by Swissmint, instead of the commemorative 10 Francs coin which is included in the regular sets. It has a copper-nickel core and an aluminium-bronze outer ring. |
