The name of the issuing country, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (often abbreviated as St. Vincent & the Grenadines), is usually displayed on the reverse of the coins where it is present. The country is part of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and its coins are issued under the authority of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, whose name and the effigy and legend of the monarch are usually on the obverse.
