2020 Tokyo Olympics Coin Collection, Coin Set from Australia - detailed information

The Royal Australian Mint’s 2020 Australian Olympic Team collection features a set of five $2 coloured uncirculated coins capturing the athletes’ journey to Tokyo 2020.

These feature a manga style Hockey Roo and Surfing Roo, Mount Fuji, the Australian Olympic symbol, and an Olympic Torch. The coins are presented in specially designed manga-themed folders, available exclusively through the Royal Australian Mint.

The coins were struck in 2020 and were accordingly dated 2020, but their release was postponed when the Games themselves were postponed. The set was released on 14 July 2021.
